Most of my friends just call me Jacqui.
I was born and grew up in Caracas, Venezuela, as part of a very fun family of 4 children. I always was the most studious of the family so big expectations were on me.
So as soon as I finished high school I started in the central University of Venezuela where 4 and ½ years later I earned an undergraduate degree in Political Sciences, which I loved, don’t get me wrong but I always wished I could be an artist.
It didn’t happen at that time so I worked among them. First I worked at the Teresa Carreño Theater and later at National Counsel of culture (CONAC). These were very valuable experiences which kept me in search of my true passion in life.
After a few years of been working I decided that I wanted to expand my horizons , experience new things and move to a new place so I immigrated to Canada, country that I love and that had giving me a new senses to my live.
In Montreal, where I have been living since 1995, I found my true passion for photography, I started my journey and I have never stopped since.
Photography is a long process but there is not another way of getting better at it that keep doing it, and the best part of it is that I love what I’m doing.
I am happily married with two beautiful daughters. My family is my inspiration and my most enthusiast fans. I love you gays.
